The SOCA TWINS from Berlin are not only Germanys most successful Soca DJs, but also one of the worldwide leading sound system when it comes to Soca music. This hard-earned status has been confirmed repeatedly and in spectacular fashion by Franky Fire, DJ since its founding in 2001 and Boone Chatta, whose antics on the mic have been revving up audiences since 2005
Its not an insider tip anymore as fans from all over are enjoying their DJ-Mixes, which have since attained cult status. Regular trips and good contacts in the Caribbean home of Soca, Trinidad & Tobago, as well as to Barbados, St. Vincent and St. Lucia, make sure they continue to produce the freshest sounds. Their ability to keep up with international competition has been proven time and again with shows all over the world, like e.g. in Trinidad, Canada, USA, UK, Barbados, Bermuda, Sweden, Russia, Switzerland, Slovakia and the Netherlands.
At live shows, festivals or of course at the Carnival, the Soca Twins already supported the stars of the Soca scene like Machel Montano, Bunji Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons, Rupee, Alison Hinds, Destra, Benjai, Blaxx, Peter Ram, Biggie Irie, Jamesy P, Maximus Dan and also international Reggae Acts like Jimmy Cliff, Junior Kelly, Mr. Vegas or Bitty McLean.
At the International Soca Awards 2009, Soca Twins were nominated as "International Soca DJ of the Year" for the fourth time in a row. In 2008 their Soca Mix CD "Addicted 2 Soca" already won in the category "Best Soca DJ Mix". Therefore the Twins are the first Europeans ever to get international recognition in the Soca business in form of an award.
